London Gatwick Airport (airport code LGW) is the UK's 2nd largest airport, after Heathrow, and the busiest single-runway airport in the world. Hosting 33 million passengers annually, the airport serves more than 200 destinations in over 90 countries. Gatwick has two terminals, North and South. The airport is 28 miles south with easy access to central London by the Gatwick Express. Express tickets can be purchased in both terminals. Gatwick is bicycle accessible through the UK's National Cycle Network. Cyclists can bike a direct path to the South Terminal with parking. Gatwick recently began developing its future master plan to serve an expected 40 million passengers each year by 2020.
