Toronto's Lester B. Pearson International Airport (airport code YYZ) is leading the way for environmental management for the 21st Century. Pearson is the first North American airport to achieve ISO certification for Environmental Management and opened their first LEED? Certified building in 2007. Only 16 miles from downtown Toronto, Pearson is Canada's largest and busiest airport serving 32 million passengers annually. Named for a former Prime Minister, Pearson has two terminals, Terminal 1 with international service and Terminal 3, which has indoor access to the Sheraton Gateway Hotel connected directly to the airport. The Toronto Transit Commission's 192 Airport Rocket shuttle provides all-day bus service between downtown Toronto and the airport. Toronto's Direct Energy Centre is North America's third largest exhibition space at over 1 million square feet. Toronto is the site of the 2015 Pan Am Games, which are expected to bring more than 250,000 visitors to the area.
