Edmonton International Airport

Edmonton International Airport (airport code YEG) is located 29 kilometers south of Edmonton, capital of Alberta province in Canada. The airport currently has one two-level terminal, however, the airport will be undergoing a major expansion starting in 2012. Linked by Highway 2, taxis, limousines and rental cars are available. Airporter bus has service into the city and Sundog Transportation provides shuttles throughout Alberta. The airport has 17 air carriers providing service across Canada, the US and Mexico and two flights to Europe - Frankfurt, Germany and London, UK. Canada's 5th busiest airport, it hosts over 6 million passengers each year. The Courtyard by Marriot Airport Hotel is scheduled to open Fall 2012.
