Vienna International Airport (airport code VIE) in Vienna, Austria, is centrally located serving as a bridge between Eastern and Western Europe. Located19 kilometers southeast of the city center, it has regular bus service between the airport and Wien Mitte/ Landstrasse rail station. The airport has three terminals, Terminal 1, 2 and Terminal 1A serving low-cost air carriers. Concourses B, C, and D branch off of these terminals. The airport also has a VIP Terminal. The airport is undergoing expansion of the terminal areas, called Skylink, to serve even more passengers. Expected to be complete in 2012, Skylink will help Vienna Airport to handle more than 20 million passengers annually.
