San Antonio International Airport (airport code SAT) is located eight miles north of downtown. The GO Airport Shuttle provides travelers with direct service to downtown hotels every 15 minutes daily. The airport's two terminals, A and B, see over eight million visitors each year. Terminal A was recently renovated while the new Terminal B was finished in 2010. A projected Terminal C is scheduled for construction in the near future. Twelve airlines serve passengers with 31 non-stop destinations across the US and in Mexico. With the Alamo historic site and friendly River Walk, San Antonio is a vacation destination as well as centrally located for businesses in south central Texas.
