King Khaled International Airport

King Khalid International Airport (airport code RUH) is located 35 kilometers north of Riyadh, the capital of Saudi Arabia. The airport has three main passenger terminals. Terminal 1 is for international flights, Terminal 2 is also international, but serves Air France, Saudi Arabian Airlines and NAS Air only, while Terminal 3 is for domestic flights. There is also a Royal Terminal for high-ranking officials and heads of state. Hosting almost 13 million passengers each year, the airport's Mosque can accommodate 5,000 people inside and another 5,000 in the outside plaza. Eight car rental companies operate at the airport and the Sahara Airport Hotel is located near the commercial lounge complex.
