Shanghai Pudong International Airport (airport code PVG) opened in 1999 and is already the world's 20th busiest airport and China's 3rd busiest, hosting over 40 million passengers annually. The airport is a hub for both Shanghai Airlines and China Eastern Airlines. The passenger complex consists of two terminals, T1 and T2, with a third terminal expected to open in 2015.
