T. F. Green Airport or Theodore Francis Green State Airport (airport code PVD) is located in Warwick, Rhode Island, 6 miles south of the capital of Providence. The airport hosts about 2.2 million passengers each year and is a reliever airport to Logan International in Boston, Massachusetts. Seven airlines provide non-stop service to 24 cities throughout the US and Toronto, Canada. The airport has one concourse, divided into North and South, and is named for former governor Bruce Sundlun. Rental cars, taxis, and buses can take passengers into Providence and surrounding areas. Currently the airport's runways are being refurbished and expanded and soon the airport concourses will also be expanded.
