Newport News/Williamsburg International Airport

Newport News/Williamsburg International Airport (airport code PHF) is located 9 miles northwest of downtown Newport News, Virginia. Originally named Patrick Henry Field (PHF), it was renamed in 1990 to better reflect the metropolitan region the airport serves. That area includes the 35th largest population area in the US and the Virginia cities of Hampton, Virginia Beach, Norfolk, Richmond and Suffolk. Hosting over 1 million travelers each year, the airport consists of a main terminal with two concourses, A and B. Five airlines provide service to the airport. Near I-64, which links the airport to the Virginia Chesapeake region, rental cars, taxis and private car services are available for transport.
