Mount Swan Airport

Misawa Airport (airport code MSF) is located in Misawa, Aomori, Japan and is the only airport shared by the United States armed forces, the Japan Air Self-Defense Force and a private company. The airport features a three-level terminal with an observation deck on the third level. Located south of Sapporo, Misawa is only an hour's flight time away from Tokyo and 1 ? hours from Osaka. Rental cars and buses are available for travel around Aomori Prefecture. As a charter airport, Misawa provides regional and national charters as well as international charters to Australia and Singapore. Misawa is known as "sky city' because of the first successful trans-pacific flight in 1931.
