SSR International Airport

Sir Seewoosagur Ramgoolam International Airport (airport code MRU) is located on the island country of Mauritius near the east coast of Africa in the Indian Ocean. Also known as SSR Airport, Ramgoolam Airport is near Mah?bourg about 48 kilometers southeast of the capital of Port Louis. Fifteen airlines provide service to Mauritius from Europe, the Middle East, Asia and Africa. The current terminal, Terminal 1, is a two-level structure with arrivals on the lower level and departures on the upper level. A new Terminal 2 is under construction and will connect with Terminal 1. Taxis, buses and rental cars provide transport to and from the airport and throughout the country.
