Kuala Lumpur International Airport (airport code KUL) is the 23rd busiest airport in passenger traffic in the world. A Southeast Asian hub with 27 airlines, the airport hosts around 35 million passengers annually. Often referred to as KLIA, the airport has three buildings that make up the terminal complex, the Satellite Building which handles international travelers, the Contact Pier which serves passengers of Malaysia Airlines and the Main Terminal, also called Terminal 1. Located 35 miles south of the Malaysian city of Kaula Lumpur, Express Rail Link has a 28-minute KLIA Express train to the downtown. Buses and taxis are also available.
