Norman Manley International Airport (airport code KIN) is located about 27 kilometers from Kingston, Jamaica, the country's capital and the largest English-speaking city in the Caribbean. The airport has 14 airlines with 130 international flights per week and serves 1.7 million annual travelers, mostly from North America, the United Kingdom and the Caribbean. Official JUTA taxis are available to transport people to and from the airport. The airport's main Air Terminal has recently been expanded and upgraded to efficiently accommodate an ever increasing number of travelers. Once called Palisadoes Airport for its location, Manley Airport is currently undergoing renovations to the Ground Transportation Hall and is expanding the Immigration Hall.
