Incheon International Airport (airport code ICN) opened in 2001 and is the 3rd largest terminal in size in the world handling 33 million passengers each year. Incheon Airport has one Main Terminal and connects to Concourse A by two underground passageways. Fifty-two kilometers west of the capital of Seoul, South Korea, the airport is on Yeongjong Island and connected to downtown by city buses, taxis and limousines. Although there is no direct rail service, buses can take travelers to nearby subways stations for connections to the city. The Cultural Museum of Korea is located in the Transfer Lounge (4F) and showcases a collection of relics covering 5,000 years of history.
