Helsinki-Vantaa Airport (airport code HEL) is located about 19 kilometers north of the capital of Finland. The airport hosts over 12.8 million passengers each year and is the 4th busiest Nordic airport. The airport is divided into two terminals and linked by an internal pedestrian connection. Only a 30-minute bus ride into the city, taxis and rental cars are also available. The cities of Tampere and Turku are only 170 kilometers away and St. Petersburg, Russia, at just under 300 kilometers away, is reachable via the E18 highway. Over 50 airlines have flights from North American, Europe and Asia.
