Gerald R. Ford International Airport (airport code GRR) is located southeast of Grand Rapids, Michigan, and is about 160 miles west of Detroit. Eight airlines serve the airport with 120 daily non-stop flights to 24 destinations. The airport hosts over 2 million passengers per year. In 1999, the airport was renamed for the 38th US President. Ford Airport has one terminal with two concourses, A and B. Taxis, hotel shuttles, limousines and rental cars provide transport along with The Rapid Route 17 public bus. Ford Airport has a variety of meeting rooms available including the International Room with a classroom "U" shape, projection screen, and theater that seats 50 people.
