Moscow Domodedovo Airport (airport code DME) is located about 22 kilometers southeast of Moscow, Russia, and is the country's largest and busiest airport with over 22 million passengers each year. Connected to Moscow by a modern expressway, buses, taxis and rental cars can all provide transportation. Aeroexpress also has direct train service to the central Paveletsky Railway Station. Russia's first ISO certified environmentally friendly airport, 77 air carriers provide service to 36 international and 29 domestic destinations. The airport consists of a two-level terminal building with international and domestic piers and is currently undergoing expansion scheduled for completion in 2012.
