Ronald Reagan National Airport (airport code DCA) is located 3 miles south of the capital of the United States, Washington DC. Renamed in 1998 for the former US president, National Airport has three terminals, A, B and C. Because it is so close to the nation's capital, National Airport only provides US immigration and customs service for corporate jets only. The only international flights allowed are from the Bahamas and Bermuda, and major Canadian airports. All other international traffic goes to Dulles Airport or north to Baltimore-Washington Airport. The airport handles over 18 million passengers each year and is connected directly with DC's Metrorail system for transport into the capital.
