Cancun International Airport

Cancun Airport International (airport code CUN) is one of the busiest airports in the Caribbean and the 2nd busiest in Mexico with over 12 million visitors each year. The airport has two terminal buildings, the Main Terminal, for domestic and international flights from major airlines, and the FBO Terminal serving charted flights and private planes. Located 22 kilometers from downtown on the Cancun-Chetumal Highway, airport transfers can be arranged through the airport's website using taxis, buses, hotel shuttles and private cars. Serving the Mayan Riviera resort region, Cancun Airport is 45 minutes from Playa del Carmen, 90 minutes from Tulum and 2 hours from the ancient ruins of Chichen Itza.
