Charlotte Douglas International Airport

Charlotte-Douglas International Airport (airport code CLT) is the 11th busiest passenger airport in the US with over 38 million travelers. Served by 10 different airlines, Charlotte-Douglas has138 non-stop destinations including international locations in Mexico, Ireland, Germany, Jamaica and Brazil. There is one terminal with five concourses, A through E. The airport is currently renovating the baggage claim area to be finished before 2012. The largest metropolitan area in North Carolina, Charlotte is the second largest banking center in the US, home to Bank of America and Wells Fargo. Charlotte is also home to professional sports teams Carolina Panthers of the NFL and the Charlotte Bobcats of the NBA.
