Malaga-Costa del Sol Airport (airport code AGP) is located in the resort area of Costa del Sol (Coast of the Sun) on the Mediterranean Sea and is the southernmost airport in Continental Europe. Located 8 kilometers southwest of Malaga, Spain, trains, buses, taxis and rental cars are available for transportation. Handling over 12 million passengers annually, the airport has three terminals, Terminal 1, Terminal 2 and the recently constructed Terminal 3. Considered the gateway to Andalucia, 85% of its passenger traffic is international with non-stop flights from all over Europe. Malaga is the 4th busiest airport in Spain and Spain's oldest airport (built 1919) still in its original location.
