Addis Ababa Bole International Airport (airport code ADD) is located on the southern outskirts of the Ethiopian capital city of Addis Ababa. With more than 3 million passengers per year, Bole Airport is Africa's 3rd busiest airport with flights throughout Africa, Europe and the Middle East. About 3 kilometers from the city center, taxis, hotel shuttles and tour group shuttles are available. The airport has two terminals. Terminal 1 serves domestic and regional air carriers while Terminal 2 serves international flights. The airport is currently undergoing a complete renovation and expansion with the opening of a third terminal due sometime in 2011. Currently, 15 airlines provide service to the airport.
